Back stitching is very popular and simple technique used to complete cross stitch patterns, but also is a style of stitching on it’s own. Back stitching is often used for creating biscornus.
Fix the strand on the back side of the fabric, using one of the methods – how to start stitching.
Bring the needle to the front side of the fabric and make the first stitch – insert the needle into the next hole on the right from your strand and and bring it in to the next from the your strand on the left.
Make the next stitch – insert the needle into the previous hole, where you needle came up from.
Each new stitch will go “back” in to the hole from where the needle came up.
As a result you will have a neat row of stitches
